Abstract
The article is about the problems hindering the development of the nonprofit sector in the activities of sports federations, such as the ineffective implementation of regional and territorial development of sports programs; weak interest of domestic and foreign investors to invest in the industry due to lack of tax breaks and other incentives, and a number of other preferences. Recommended to implement measures to strengthen the legal institutionalization of the public non-profit activities of sports associations.
