- At the beginning of the uuf century energy security and climate change are among the most important issues in world politicsK oussiaI being the energy giant and one of the biggest countries on emission of greenhouse gasesI has good potential to benefit under the flexible mechanisms of the hyoto mrotocol to enable further investment to upgrade domestic industriesK qhis article reviewed the joint implementation mechanismI analyzed the possibility of the carbon market to oussian companiesI identified the risks associated with the implementation of gf projects in oussiaK Concluded that the mechanisms of the hyoto mrotocol provide a real opportunity for oussia for energy efficiencyI provide an additional incentive for the projects and measures for saving energy and resources.
