- The article focuses on the evolution of the requirements of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision regarding banking regulations. Specific features of Basel III, implementation problems of its standards in Russian and international banking practice are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the implementation of Basel Accords in the financial development institutions.
