Abstract
In the article we consider international experience of pension plans management in the developed countries - the United States of America, Great Britain, Japan, Australia and Canada. We analyze both Social Security retirement benefits and employer-sponsored pensions. Particular attention is paid to such aspects as the retirement age, pension size, Social Security benefits compared to a retiree's past earnings, cost-of-living adjustments, the methods of pension calculations.
