- Abstract
- In this article the current post-crisis state of the Kazakhstan's banking system and its main problems are discussed: low quality of loan portfolio, the lack of own equity, low yield and the profitability of the banking activities, also taken measures to solve these problems, both implemented by the Government and by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Assessing the positiveness of these measures, the authors formulate additional recommendations on improvement of formed situation in the Banking Sector of Kazakhstan.
