Abstract
Author attempts to analyze conflicts and ways to resolve them, basing on the characteristics of transitional rural Chinese society, as well as to take stock and to summarize existing problems from legal and sociological points of view. The conclusion is made on improving mechanism for resolving these conflicts. A key to build them is the legal way. The analysis is offered of various methods conducive to their resolution and the role of the authorities in the process of their settlement.
