Abstract

For the U.S. China is one of the fastest growing markets whose importance will only increase. Despite the increase of the U.S. trade deficit with China, including high-tech trade, the development of trade and economic cooperation with China in the long term has a positive impact on the U.S. economy, even taking into account the short-term negative effects for individual industries.
