                [full_description] => В работе рассматриваются основные современные подходы к объяснению гендерного неравенства в мусульманских обществах в целом и на Арабском Востоке, в частности. Тендерное неравенство в этом регионе привлекает значительное внимание ученых и общества, однако остается недостаточно изученным в силу нехватки надежных данных. Проблему по -ложения женщин в странах с преимущественно исламским населением рассматривают с культурно-религиозной, исторической, экономико-институциональной, феминистски-критической точек зрения, но диалог между этими традициями только начинается, оставляя значительные лакуны в академическом знании.
