- Abstract
- The problem of measuring the social efficiency of business activity is an important component of wider sphere of the fundamental questions connected with revealing the purposes and criteria of economic development depending on the current situation and strategic objectives of the society. The complex of Russian industry enterprises characteristics is analyzed in this article that allows estimating social efficiency of the enterprises. It is shown that overcoming the «low-technological equilibrium)) in Russian economy requires monitoring the efficiency which would include not only financial results of the enterprises, but also the character of the produced benefits and way by which these benefits are produced. It is paid much attention to the efficiency of technological innovations.
